Neemias Queta  is coming off a year where he appeared in five regular-season games for the Sacramento Kings.

The former Utah State star averaged 2.4 points and 2.2 rebounds per contest while shooting 66.7% from the field.

Recently, the Kings waived Queta, so he became a free agent available to sign with any team in the league.

On Saturday, Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium reported that the 24-year-old will now sign a deal with the Boston Celtics

Via Charania: "Free agent 7-footer Neemias Queta is finalizing a two-way NBA contract with the Boston Celtics, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Queta spent the past two seasons with the Kings, who drafted him in the second round in 2021."

Queta was initially the 39th pick in the 2021 NBA Draft and has played 20 games in the NBA for the Kings (over two seasons).

His career averages are 2.9 points and 2.1 rebounds per contest while shooting 48.9% from the field.
