Inter Milan will listen to offers that are above €30 million for Argentine attacking midfielder Valentin Carboni this summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. The newspaper anticipate that the Nerazzurri are ready to sell a number of younger players in order to fund signings.

Inter have already rejected some major offers for Carboni.

During the January transfer window, the Nerazzurri reportedly turned down bids worth €20 million.

Fiorentina, West Ham United, and Brentford were among the clubs to show an interest in the 19-year-old.

But Inter decided to keep Carboni out on loan at Monza at least until the end of the current season.

However, the campaign is now coming to an end. Carboni will return to Inter as his loan at the Brianzoli expires.

And the Nerazzurri will have to make a decision regarding he teenage attacking midfielder’s future.

The preference of Inter would probably still be to loan Carboni out again. Whether to Monza or a different club.

The Nerazzurri want to retain control of Carboni’s future, as they see him as a part of their plans in the longer term.

However, offers of a certain size would not be rejected, reports Tuttosport.

Inter Milan To Listen To €30M Offers For Valentin Carboni.

Inter may have rejected offers worth €20 million for Carboni in January.

But according to Tuttosport, €30 million could be the magic number. At that point, Inter would be willing to sell the Argentine international.

Inter are aiming to make a few important signings this summer.

The Nerazzurri are targeting Bento or Josef Martinez in goal. In defense, Torino’s Alessandro Buongiorno is on their radar. And in attack, Inter want Albert Gudmundsson.

These signings will not come cheap.

So Inter are aiming to bring in the cash to finance these deals by selling younger players not part of the main squad – similar to the sale of Cesare Casadei to Chelsea in 2022.

Filip Stankovic, Martin Satriano, Gaetano Oristanio, Francesco Pio Esposito, and Sebastiano Esposito would all be candidates to leave in this respect.

But Carboni could be another important sale for Inter.

If an offer comes in that meets the Nerazzurri’s €30 million asking price, Tuttosport reports, a sale could happen that would be part of funding other summer transfer business.
